PACIFIC DOUGLAS.jpeg

PACIFIC DOUGLAS, SOUTH SURREY

Pacific Douglas is tucked up next to the US border and is quickly becoming an active community for young families in the Fraser Valley. Although is roots are very rural and acreages for horses are still available, today you will find some of South Surrey’s newest neighbourhoods perfect for families and retirees. The Pacific Douglas area is a perfect community for those that like to be outdoors. For avid golfers, the Peace Portal Golf Course is in the area and Meridian Park is perfect for those wanting gentle walking trails. For residents who are looking for more outdoor pursuits, Peace Arch Provincial Park and Little Campbell River are very popular for hiking, dog walking and to see endangered wildlife. Pacific Heights is also so close to the US borders that many residents take advantage and pop over to Birch Bay for a weekend away, to shop in Bellingham or Seattle, or to explore nature at Whatcom Falls or Semiahmoo Beach. In Pacific Heights, you will mostly find affordable detached homes and townhomes in carefully planned communities. It is the affordability that is drawing new residents to the area, especially young families.
